Job summary

Advice Direct Scotland is seeking an External Engagement Lead to raise awareness, develop strategic partnerships, create referral pathways and deliver events that increase engagement and service uptake across Scotland.

You'll collaborate with business development, communications and service delivery teams to reach more individuals, communities and organisations, ensuring accessible support and measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Experience of developing partnerships and community engagement initiatives.
• Excellent communication, presentation and networking skills.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Experience managing events and coordinating multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with colleagues and partners.
• Commitment to inclusion, accessibility and helping people access the support they need.

Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering engagement and outreach activity across Scotland.
• Building and managing relationships with partners, stakeholders and community organisations.
• Creating and strengthening referral pathways into ADS services.
• Representing ADS at meetings, conferences, exhibitions and networking events.
• Planning and delivering webinars, workshops, roadshows and stakeholder events.
• Working with colleagues to promote engagement activity and share impact stories.
• Monitoring performance, evaluating outcomes and reporting on impact.
• Supporting funding applications, tenders and organisational growth through engagement evidence and insight.
