Zusammenfassung

The University of Sheffield is seeking a Roof and Hard Standing Maintenance Technician to undertake external cleaning and inspections across the estate. You will operate MEWPs and other height equipment, carrying out planned and reactive works to a high standard in all weather conditions.

You will be part of the Estates & Facilities Management team, contributing to safety, efficiency, and the upkeep of roof spaces and exterior areas, with opportunities for development and training.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in cleaning roof spaces and external hard standings.
• Ability to operate equipment used for working at height and external cleaning.

Aufgaben

• Carry out external cleaning and removal of debris from roof spaces and hard standings across the estate.
• Undertake external inspection of roof spaces and report findings.
• Carry out works to SFG20 standards and maintain equipment.
• Monitor and maintain specialist equipment including working-at-height gear.
• Travel to different locations and work lone when required.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and inspections.
