Urban Planters is seeking a Landscaping Operative based in Alfreton to travel between sites in the company van and deliver high-quality planting services, covering soft and hard landscaping.

You will join a small team, assist with projects, and ensure safety and customer satisfaction across sites. A full UK driving licence and horticultural interest are preferred.

Formación

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Garden maintenance experience is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Plant knowledge would be advantageous.
• Qualification in Horticulture is desirable but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Travel between sites in the company van to deliver the best possible service.
• Assist with projects requiring both soft and hard landscaping.
• Complete landscaping dockets and timesheets promptly.
• Act as a representative of the company and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Report customer comments for improvement to the company’s performance.
• Comply with all Health & Safety requirements.
• Undertake other duties as required by management.

Job description

Position: Landscaping Operative

Location:Alfreton

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: Basic salary from £29,431 per annum

Reporting To: Team Leader

The Role

Working as a Landscaping Operative, you will travel between sites in the company van ensuring the best possible service is provided to our ever growing customer base.

This is an opportunity for someone to work within a small landscaping team assisting with projects requiring both soft and hard landscaping. A large amount of travel is involved within this role

Your main duties will include:

• To assist with the completion of landscaping dockets


• To complete timesheets and ensure all paperwork is handed in promptly


• To act at all times as a representative of the company and ensure that the customer is completely satisfied


• To initiate suggestions and report customer comments for improvement to the company’s performance


• To comply with all relevant Health & Safety requirements


• Undertake other duties as required by management

Qualifications & Experience:

• Full UK drivers licence


• Garden maintenance experience is essential


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Able to work as part of a team


• Plant knowledge would be advantageous
