Job summary

East Riding of Yorkshire Council is recruiting a Playworker for Hallgate Primary School's After School Club in Cottingham. The role is fixed term, term-time, 11.5 hours per week, with sessions from 3:15pm to 5:45pm on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, supporting children who attend Hallgate Primary School.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging activities, encourage participation and help create a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels supported and valued.

Hallgate Primary School is a warm and welcoming school in the centre of Cottingham.

A position has become available for a caring Playworker in our After School Club. To begin as soon as possible. The provision caters for children that attend Hallgate Primary School.

As a Playworker, you’ll help deliver engaging activities, encourage participation, and help to create a fun, inclusive environment where every child feels safe, support, and valued.

Hallgate Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. Appointment is subject to successful Enhanced DBS check.
