About the Role:

Join our team as an Extended Range Product Manager to drive the strategy and development of Thorntons’ exclusive product range for Ferrero Partners and D2C channels.

You will be responsible for shaping strategy, fostering innovation, and ensuring profitability across platforms like Thorntons.com and Ferrero Partner retail stores. Bring bold ideas to life, create standout products, and make a meaningful impact on a beloved brand.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage range development by collaborating with central Brand Marketing to create customer-focused product briefs that differentiate and premiumise the range.
  • Lead exclusive product development, working with R&D and packaging teams to bring innovative ideas to life while aligning with brand strategy.
  • Brief and approve product artwork, liaise with stakeholders, and present updates to senior leadership.
  • Define the portfolio strategy, support new and existing product development, and optimize the extended range using competitor insights and sales data.
  • Oversee product photography, website content, and marketing copy to ensure alignment with brand positioning and consumer engagement.
  • Support digital and social campaigns by selecting product features and shaping copy, coordinating regular stakeholder meetings to keep projects on track.
  • Develop website content in collaboration with digital, brand marketing, and creative teams to enhance online presence.
Who we are looking for:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility, problem-solving abilities, and impactful decision-making, balancing creativity with profitability.

People skills are crucial—ability to unite teams and influence stakeholders. Excellent communication, presentation skills, and packaging/artwork development experience are necessary for successful product launches.

Experience in eCommerce or D2C project management, along with a background in food manufacturing marketing, will be advantageous for thriving in this competitive market.
