This opportunity is an expression of interest ahead of AMP 8. We are open to speaking with Mechanical Engineers interested in joining our Water Business in the South of England, with opportunities at our offices in Brighton, Ashford, Kings Hill, or Southampton. You will help grow our reputation by providing mechanical design services for various projects.

You will liaise with project managers, technical leaders, design engineers, clients, supply chain partners, contractors, planners, and other stakeholders to achieve positive project outcomes. Mentoring less experienced team members is also part of your role.

The ideal candidate is a Chartered or Incorporated Mechanical Engineer with experience in mechanical design, ideally with the IMechE.
You should have experience producing technical specifications, sizing and designing pumping and aeration systems, schedules, reports, and be familiar with collaborative planning reviews and design solutions.
You will provide engineering input for design outputs such as General Arrangement Drawings, 3D models, and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams.
Strong communication skills are essential, including delivering technical presentations and participating in technical workshops, safety reviews, HAZOPs, and ALMs.
Experience in the Water sector is advantageous, but candidates from energy, infrastructure, or environmental sectors with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
