Job summary

Asda Express is seeking an Express Deputy Site Manager in the Bathgate area to lead a visible, hands-on team in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the Store Manager to create a warm, effortless shopping experience for customers and a supportive atmosphere for colleagues.

You will help drive sales, maintain high standards, and step up to lead the store when required, while ensuring safety and compliance across all operations.

• Retail experience and strong commercial understanding.
• Proven leadership and people management abilities.

• Ability to coach and develop colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in leading and developing a motivated team.
• Help drive sales, set high standards and deliver excellent service.
• Lead the store independently when required.
• Maintain safety and compliance — including PFS and forecourt operations.
• Support colleague development, training and on-the-job coaching.
• Deliver day-to-day people management professionally and fairly.
• Promote a culture where everyone feels included and proud.
