Job summary

Process Instruments is seeking an Export Sales Executive in Burnley to drive growth of water quality analysers in export markets. The role emphasizes building distributor relationships and managing the full sales cycle from first contact to handover with the Manufacturing Team.

The position offers 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a salary up to £40,000 DOE, plus a performance bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales or other technical/scientific roles.
• Positive and proactive attitude with the enthusiasm and drive to ‘make things happen’.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills.
• The ability to travel overseas from time to time.
• A valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth of water quality analysers across export markets.
• Build relationships and secure new business via Distributors and Private labs.
• Represent the brand across multiple countries, managing the full sales cycle from contact to handover with the Manufacturing Team.
• Ensure the technical accuracy of proposals and tenders.
• Provide feedback to Product Development on customer needs and market trends.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities.
