Job summary

SDW Recruitment Ltd in the United Kingdom is working with an established international removals and freight forwarder based in Botley to recruit an experienced import & export professional.

Salary is in the £28,000–£32,000 range, depending on experience.

Job description

A well-established international removals & freight forwarding company is looking to recruit an experienced import & export professional to join their expanding team based in Botley. If you have previous freight forwarding experience, ideally export sea freight bookings (with carriers), coupled maybe with some import, this could be the role for you.

The Role:

In this you will be responsible for managing shipments from initial quotation and then from start to finish including booking cargo with carriers using their various bespoke systems, managing all paperwork including raising Bills of Lading, and ensuring all Customs procedures are adhered to and the goods are cleared Customs. The export booking experience has been highlighted by the company as the key experience they desire, they can train all other aspects.
