Noble Recruiting is currently recruiting a confident and experienced Export Customer Service Operator to join our friendly and proactive client in Basildon, Essex.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Contact clients/missing shippers to secure more bookings when containers are low on volume.
• Communicate with overseas agents via email/OMS to ensure effective and up-to-date information for all routed bookings.
• Handle amendments to bookings efficiently – CBM, weight, number of pieces.
• Book haulage, considering any special agreements such as free pick-up.
• Resolve haulage issues, such as drivers not turning up.

Requirements:

• Confident and outgoing personality.
• Extensive experience in a customer service environment.
• Minimum 2 years of export freight forwarding experience.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Clear, concise, and logical communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to organise and multi-task effectively.
• Recent experience within a freight forwarding environment (within the last 6 months).
• Good time management skills.
• Owning a vehicle is desirable.
• UK resident with the right to work in the UK.
