Job description

We are seeking an experienced export logistics coordinator for a well-established and growing business based on the Wrexham Industrial Estate.

Responsibilities
  1. Run daily delivery reports and plan/coordinate deliveries to meet customer satisfaction and delivery dates.
  2. Plan and implement logistics strategies for the timely and efficient export of goods.
  3. Prepare export documentation, including bills of lading, export licenses, and customs declarations.
  4. Communicate effectively with exporters, shipping companies, and customs officials.
  5. Handle customer returns daily via CRM and the return portal, ensuring accurate booking based on system information.
  6. Identify and resolve issues related to deliveries and collections by liaising with couriers, customers, and internal departments.
  7. Prepare dispatch documentation and liaise with couriers using web-based portals for deliveries and collections.
  8. Arrange returns through the CRM system and obtain proof of deliveries (PODs) from carriers.
  9. Request quotes from couriers for deliveries and collections.
The right person
  • Has experience with export documentation and communication with customs.
  • Possesses strong teamwork skills and thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Has experience working with third-party couriers and contractors, ideally using web-based portals.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
