A leading global freight forwarder is seeking an experienced candidate for an Ocean Freight Exports role in Liverpool. The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end processes of export shipments and engage in customer service, while working in a supportive environment that promotes personal growth and development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Ocean Freight Exports.
• Experience in start to finish roles preferred.
• Knowledge of physical loading of containers beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Arranging LCL and FCL export shipments to worldwide destinations.
• Liaising effectively with branches, carriers, and sales department.
• Handling orders, issuing Bills of Lading, and invoices.

My client is looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience within Ocean Freight Exports, having worked in a start to finish role previously. Team players and people who have an energetic and enthusiastic attitude to work would be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Arranging LCL and FCL export shipments to worldwide destinations
• Arranging collections with selected transport companies
• Effectively liaising with other branches, carriers, and sales department
• Providing an excellent customer service experience
• Handling orders, issuing Bills of Lading, invoices, issuing pre-alerts
• Knowledge of the physical loading of containers beneficial
• Customs clearance and entry within Sequoia or other customs system
