Job summary

Lancashire County Council invites applications for a Contextual Safeguarding Social Worker to join the EmPower Contextual Safeguarding Team in Central Lancashire. You will support children experiencing Exploitation and Extra Familial Harm, building meaningful relationships and applying Trauma-Informed and Contextual safeguarding principles to help them achieve positive outcomes.

The post is permanent and full-time (37 hours per week) in Lancaster, with a salary of £37,563 to £42,123 per annum.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with SWE to be appointed as a Social Worker or have started registration.
• DBS checks are required as part of the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

• Support children experiencing Exploitation and Extra Familial Harm, building meaningful relationships.
• Apply Contextual safeguarding principles to help children achieve positive outcomes.
