Job summary

TravIn Toys, Inc. in Tracy, CA is seeking a full-time Trailer Mechanic to inspect, maintain and repair utility, cargo, dump, and equipment trailers.

You’ll diagnose electrical, braking and suspension issues, perform welding and fabrication as needed, and keep accurate service records. The ideal candidate has at least two years of trailer repair experience, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills to coordinate with service advisors and customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Trailer Mechanic.
• Valid driver's license.
• Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on trailers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with trailers, including electrical systems and suspension.
• Repair or replace damaged or worn parts, including brakes, tires, and suspension components.
• Perform welding and fabrication work as needed.
• Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
• Communicate with Service Advisor regarding repairs and maintenance.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
