Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is looking for a seasoned Backend Engineer to join our R&D team in London. You will develop and maintain large-scale distributed services powering our platform, tackling scaling challenges with clean, efficient code.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in backend development using Java, Go, or C#, and solid cloud exposure (AWS/GCP/Azure) plus experience with microservices, databases, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, GraphQL and PostgreSQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-degree in CS/Software Eng or related field.
• 6+ years backend engineering in a major language (Java, C#, Go).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Responsibilities

• End-to-end development of backend components (research, design, development, testing, rollout, monitoring).

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field.
• 6 + years of experience with Backend Engineering in a high-level programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Golang).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices based architecture.
• Experience with databases and message queue technologies.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
• Familiarity or experience with Golang, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Neptune, Docker, and Kubernetes.
