Job summary

Wiz is seeking an Expert Backend Engineer to join our expanding R&D team in Greater London. You will own the design, development, and delivery of large-scale distributed backend components powering Wiz’s cloud security platform.

The role emphasizes solving scalability challenges, writing clean and efficient code, and collaborating with product and research teams to drive architectural decisions from design through production. Expect a high-impact, fast-paced environment in London.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field).
• 8+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience working in high-scale environments.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and distributed environment.
• Hands-on experience with production systems.
• Proven ability to lead architecture and design from scratch through the entire development process, including testing and production.
• Collaboration with different stakeholders, especially product and research teams.
• Experience solving complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities
