Job summary

UTAC Millbrook is seeking a proactive Head of Events to lead the Event Management, Venues & Catering Team at our UK facilities. You will ensure exceptional customer service, efficient resource use and the successful delivery of events from enquiry to completion.

The role requires strong venue management experience in automotive events, with leadership and commercial responsibility, and a willingness to travel to client sites and events. On-site work at Millbrook is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven background in venue and event management.
• Experience in automotive events or motorsport.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Uphold UTAC’s values of integrity, innovation and expertise.
• Provide weekly briefings of Event and Sales activity.
• Respond to inbound enquiries; collaborate with Business Development.
• Maintain motivation and discipline within the team.
• Increase sales revenue margins while controlling costs.
• Develop and optimise operational processes for efficiency and compliance.
• Coordinate UTAC Millbrook event venue facilities with health and safety.
• Oversee recruitment and appraisals for the Event Management team.
• Manage timesheets and ensure event management processes are followed.
• Attend industry exhibitions to promote key UTAC Millbrook events.
