Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking an experienced Year 1 teacher to join a welcoming Wirral primary school on a long-term basis.

The role involves teaching a Year 1 class with a strong emphasis on KS1 curriculum knowledge and effective planning and assessment. Start date is Monday 2nd November, with a long-term contract through to July 2027 and potential for permanent appointment for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Solid experience teaching in a primary school.
• Year 1 or KS1 experience.
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.
• Planning, assessment and classroom management.
• Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Organised, reliable and able to work independently.

Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday

Tradewind Recruitment are looking for an experienced primary teacher to join a welcoming school on the Wirral, teaching a Year 1 class on a long-term basis. This role would suit a confident and experienced teacher who has a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and is able to hit the ground running.

You will take full responsibility for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress and creating a positive classroom environment where children feel supported and motivated to learn.

The school is looking for a teacher who:
