Experienced Warehouse Operative

Job description
Pulse are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative with knowledge of Sage 200 stock control systems, use of barcode scanners, used to scanning stock in & out, and competent in driving a forklift truck.

The role of Warehouse Operative is to join the warehouse team to perform a wide range of duties including:

Picking and loading of customer orders,
Unloading and locating of new stock into the warehouse allocated locations,
Delivery and removal of stock into the assembly shop.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, key responsibilities will include:

Picking orders for deliveries from picking lists provided
Assisting in accurately loading vehicles ensuring maximum utilization of space and proper securing of load
Assisting in unloading containers checking delivery notes and reporting to logistics
General housekeeping and organizing including forklift truck work loading, unloading and storage
Comply with company health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
General warehouse duties
Using a handheld device to book stock in and out and stock adjustment through barcode readers and desktop computers.
Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have knowledge/experience in the following:

Good level of English
Experience of working within a warehouse environment
Forklift truck licence
Good team player
Highly organised
Experience of barcodes and stock control software (Sage 200)
Ability to work on own initiative and meet tight deadlines
Attention to detail whilst working in a fast-paced environment
Willing to perform other duties as and when required
