Job summary

Wakefield Vets for Pets on Horbury Road is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to deliver high-quality clinical care in a friendly, standalone practice. You’ll manage routine medical and surgical cases, enjoy a flexible working pattern, and no out-of-hours shifts, with a supportive team around you.

The Practice

Our purpose-built, standalone practice provides an excellent environment in which to deliver a high standard of clinical care.

You’ll have access to a great range of equipment, including:

• Corneal diamond burr
• High-spec ultrasound
• Orthopaedic surgical equipment
• Laparoscopic (endosurgery) equipment
• Laser equipment

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who:

• Is confident managing routine medical and surgical cases
• Is comfortable with occasional sole charge
• Enjoys being part of a friendly and supportive team
• Values flexibility while maintaining high clinical standards
• Is passionate about providing excellent care to patients and clients
