Location: Southwark, London

Contract: Full Time - Long Term

Start Date: September 2025

Salary: £89 - £120 day rate

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant seeking a new position in a Primary School based in Southwark?

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide tailored support and assistance to students. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-on-one support to students with SEN, helping them with their academic and social development.
• Supporting students during classroom activities, ensuring they are fully engaged and able to participate to the best of their abilities.
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Teaching Assistant & Childcare Level 1/2/3 qualifications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the needs of all students.
• A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of students and the school environment.
