Job summary

Caritas Recruitment Limited is seeking an Experienced Social Worker to join the Children with Disabilities (CWD) team in Swindon. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality assessments, interventions, and support for children with disabilities and their families.

You will collaborate with families, schools, and other agencies to coordinate services, maintain accurate records, and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance service delivery in Swindon.

Qualifications

• Recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Significant post-qualification experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities.
• Strong assessment and analytical skills; ability to formulate effective intervention plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to build rapport with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and develop tailored support plans.
