Job summary

West Northamptonshire Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join its Adult Social Care team in Northampton. You will support adults and families, using strengths-based practice to promote independence, wellbeing and choice.

You will manage complex caseloads, carry out assessments and lead safeguarding enquiries when needed, working with health, housing and voluntary sector partners to deliver coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker and registered with Social Work England.
• Experience in Adult Social Care and delivering person-centred practice.
• Strong assessment, analysis and decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake strengths-based assessments and develop outcome-focused support plans.
• Manage a varied caseload, including safeguarding enquiries where appropriate.
• Collaborate with health, housing and voluntary sector colleagues to deliver coordinated support.
