Job summary

Insite Finance in Cardiff is recruiting an Experienced Senior Accountant to join an established team serving owner-managed businesses across a broad range of sectors. The role offers hybrid working and regular client exposure to develop strong relationships with senior colleagues.

You will lead statutory accounts, support tax compliance, and manage assignments from start to finish, with clear progression toward managerial roles as the firm grows and succession plans unfold.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in a UK accounting environment with the ability to prepare accounts with limited supervision.
• ACA or ACCA qualification would be useful, strong part-qualified and qualified-by-experience candidates will be considered.
• Experience in managing assignments from start to finish and reviewing work of trainees.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory accounts across multiple client portfolios.
• Take ownership of assignments from start to finish.
• Work directly with business owners and finance teams.
• Support corporation tax compliance and tax filings.
• Prepare management accounts when required.
• Review work by trainees and junior staff and provide guidance.
• Resolve accounting queries with clients and attend client meetings.
• Progressively take greater responsibility for your own portfolio.
