Job summary

Axcis Education in Edgware is seeking an experienced Primary SEND Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist SEND school. The role focuses on pupils with PMLD and complex needs, providing hands-on support with learning, communication, emotional regulation, and personal care.

The successful candidate will be confident, patient, and capable of working with children who have significant physical and communication needs.

Qualifications

• Experience with PMLD and complex SEND needs.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a DBS check.
• Ability to support learning, communication and emotional regulation.

Responsibilities

• Support learning activities and pupil engagement.
• Assist with communication development and social interaction.
