Mayden seeks a dedicated Scrum Master to join the iaptus product team in Bath. You will guide agile practices, coach teams toward delivering customer value, and remove impediments to keep sprints on track.
You will collaborate with product owners, developers, and designers to foster self-managing teams and sustainable delivery pace across the organisation. Hybrid working and a supportive benefits package accompany the role.
We are looking for a passionate agile practitioner to join the iaptus product team as a scrum master. The iaptus product team is made up of a number of scrum teams, consisting of product owners, developers, designers, and scrum masters.
We work in adherence to agile values and principles, using the scrum framework to deliver value and drive continuous improvement. We see our scrum masters as servant-leaders that foster an environment for creativity and collaboration.
We use AI tools internally and externally as part of our work, we support our clients to use them thoughtfully, and we know many candidates will use them too. When used well, AI can be a helpful support to, but not a replacement for, human thinking, creativity or judgement.
We strongly encourage applicants to ensure their applications authentically reflect their own experience and capability. Our recruitment decisions are always made by people. We're interested in your skills, your curiosity, and how you approach problems.
If you choose to use AI tools for formatting or assistance, please use them ethically and responsibly, make it clear how and where you have used them, and take care to review and personalise your application accordingly.
We offer exciting opportunities to learn new skills and an excellent package of benefits including:
The position is for a full time member of our team, 37.5 hours, Monday – Friday.
Collaboration is one of our four company values - we work best together. We believe there is significant benefit from working face to face when doing so. At the same time, some work may be carried out just as effectively alone and away from the office. We have therefore created a flexible ‘place of work’ policy that asks everyone to be where the work of the day is best completed and overall spend enough time in the office with others to maintain relationships and communication.
This means there are no fixed days, or number of days, when you should be in the office or can work at home. In any given week you may need to work from the office everyday or no days! It all depends on the work being done and you are expected to be flexible. Many people find this approach means they work in the office 3 or more days a week but this varies according to role and the work they have to do.
You must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
This role is not eligible for sponsorship by Mayden for a skilled worker visa. We are therefore unable to accept applications from individuals who would require an employer to sponsor them for a work permit.
Please note that successful applicants will be asked to complete a basic DBS check as part of their onboarding process. These checks are processed by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and will be paid for by Mayden. The need for DBS screening follows requirements from our customers and NHS England.
