Transform, a fresh alternative to Big Consulting, is seeking a Senior Delivery Manager to join the Product & Delivery team in London or Manchester. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, drive delivery of complex programs, and work with senior stakeholders to shape outcomes.

You will apply Agile methods, foster continuous improvement, and help teams plan, communicate, and deliver value at scale across public and private sector clients.

Senior Delivery Manager

We’re looking for a Senior Delivery Manager to join our Product and Delivery team. You’ll work in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver great outcomes for public and private sector clients. As a Senior Delivery Manager, you’ll be working on complex projects, with multiple teams, or strategically with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver products and services that meet users’ needs
• Helping teams organise and plan their work
• Enable teams to communicate their plans clearly and deliver outcomes using agile practices
• Work with teams and organisations to adopt an agile mindset or agile practices as appropriate
• Identify and build the teams and resources needed to deliver client goals
• Proactively identify and address risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers
• Help influence strategic direction for an engagement
• Promote a good working environment with high-performing teams who can enjoy working together
• Develop, guide and coach an assigned team
• Be a key member of our Delivery Management community, learning, sharing and applying skills and knowledge to improve
• Support the development of the Delivery practices toolkit and processes

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Experience of working along the product development life-cycle with multi-disciplinary teams
• Skilled in Agile methods, including continuous improvement and continuous delivery methods
• Skilled in introducing and improving use of Agile in a pragmatic way
• Experience delivering great outcomes in complex sectors at scale such as the public sector or utilities
• Demonstrable experience in challenging senior stakeholders and influencing their mindset and ways of working
• Skilled in thinking strategically about problems at scale with stakeholders and in the detail with delivery teams
• Skilled in communication making complex information simple, and bringing people with you
• Experience developing and mentoring team members including more junior delivery managers
• Experience working with research, design, technical and data teams - helping set priorities, make key technical choices and identify risks
• Experience being a part of, or contributing to successful communities of practice or excellence
• A growth mindset
• AI curious and ready to embrace opportunities

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Government methods such as GDS and Digital-by-Default Service Standards
