Job summary

The Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust invites an experienced physiotherapist to undertake a 6-month rotational posting between inpatient orthopaedics and MSK Outpatients. You will work onsite at Royal Berkshire Hospital across upper limb MSK outpatients, lower limb MSK outpatients, hand therapy outpatients, and inpatient orthopaedics (trauma and elective surgery).

You will deliver patient-centred care within a supportive MDT, with supervision where required and a focus on high-quality service

Qualifications

• Experienced Physiotherapist delivering patient-centred, caring therapy for RBFT.
• Professional responsibility for all aspects of own work with supervisor support.
• Autonomous practitioner providing specialist advice to the MDT.

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload within inpatient orthopaedics and MSK outpatients.
• Deliver high-quality, efficient physiotherapy service in the Therapy team.
• Contribute to service development within Therapies and the Trust.
• Work as a member of the Therapy Department to support departmental goals.

Band 6 Experienced Rotational Physiotherapist - MSK & Orthopaedics

We are excited to welcome an experienced and enthusiastic physiotherapist to complete 6-month rotations between inpatient orthopaedics and MSK Outpatients.

The successful applicant will work onsite at the Royal Berkshire Hospital covering the following rotations: upper limb MSK outpatients, lower limb MSK outpatients, hand therapy outpatients, inpatient orthopaedics (covering trauma and elective surgery).

• To be an experienced Physiotherapist delivering patient centred, caring therapy for Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust Hospital (RBFT).
• To be professionally responsible for all aspects of your own work including the therapeutic management of patients in your care, with support from your supervisor.
• To use your physiotherapy knowledge and skills to provide specialist support and advice to the multi-disciplinary team and to manage own caseload of patients as an autonomous practitioner
• To deliver a high quality, effective and efficient physiotherapy service in the Therapy team.
• To be a member of the Therapy Department team, contributing to service development in Therapies and the Trust.
