Job summary

University of Surrey's Guildford School of Acting seeks an experienced Performing Arts Technician (Sound) to support the delivery of theatre productions, public events, and research activities. • Experience in a Sound department on varied live productions.
• Experience in Conservatoire or Higher Education setting preferred.
• Strong organisational and mentoring skills.
• Up-to-date Health & Safety knowledge and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to support delivery of all programmes and events.
• Supervise, mentor and supervise students and freelance staff.
• Manage and repair sound equipment; oversee the sound equipment budget.
