Job summary

Disability North is seeking confident Registered Nurses to work in a community setting with a Critical Care/ICU background. Roles involve caring for patients with tracheostomies, ventilation, feeding tubes, and airway suction in home environments.

Applicants must be registered with the NMC, hold a valid PIN/DBS, and have paediatric nursing experience preferred. The role offers 12-hour shifts (nights available) with 6 weeks annual leave and employer pension contribution.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with full awareness and understanding of the NMC code of professional conduct.
• Valid PIN / DBS; Paediatric nursing: 1 year (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide community-based nursing care including tracheostomy, ventilation and enteral feeding.
• Administer medications and manage pain.
• Operate suction devices and nebulisers; monitor saturation levels.

Job description

We are looking for confident and competent experienced Registered Paediatric/Adult Nurses who can work in a community setting with a background in Critical Care/ICU. Experience of working with complex clinical care, Community care would be an advantage., Experience:

A minimum of 1 years' experience and ability to work with and practice the following:

• Tracheostomy care
• Ventilation care
• Enteral tube feeding
• Oral suction / trache suction
• Medication Administration and Pain Management
• Suction Machine
• Nebuliser
• Saturation monitoring

You will need to;

• Be a Registered Nurse with full awareness and understanding of NMC code of professional conduct
• Have a Valid PIN / DBS, Paediatric nursing: 1 year (preferred)

An enhanced DBS will be required for this role paid for by the employer.

£31.00 per hour rate

Part Time or Full Time - 12-hour shifts (nights available)

6 weeks annual leave
