Job summary

Marylebone Services is recruiting for an Experienced Nursery Practitioner (unqualified or qualified) to join a small, family-run nursery in Hendon. The role welcomes applicants with or without formal qualifications, with on-the-job training funded for those pursuing Level 2/3 certificates.

A 40-hour week, permanent contract, and supportive team are offered. Salary ranges from £22,000 to £30,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, with potential negotiation for highly qualified

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of consistent, full-time work within a UK nursery setting.
• Strong familiarity with the EYFS framework and nursery good practice.
• Kind, nurturing, reliable, organised, and a fantastic team player who enjoys supporting colleagues.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Unqualified candidates can pursue Level 2 or Level 3 qualification with a dedicated tutor.

Responsibilities

• Create a calm, positive, and nurturing environment where children feel secure and inspired to learn through play.
• Utilise EYFS knowledge to support learning through daily routines and play.
• Monitor and track children's progress, sharing meaningful updates with parents and colleagues.
• Support children with daily routines while encouraging confidence and independence.
