Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a qualified mental health practitioner to join the Essex Liaison & Diversion Service, delivering expert input in police custody suites and magistrates courts across Essex.
You will provide write-ups and assessments, work with criminal justice partners, and support vulnerable individuals redirected away from crime. The role includes flexible long/short day shifts and autonomous case work within a supportive team.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced mental health practitioner to join our Essex Liaison & Diversion Service, providing expert advice and interventions within our Essex wide Police Custodies and magistrates courts across Essex.
The shift patterns covering the Essex County Wide Service provides flexibility with 3 weeks of 3 long days and one week of 4 long days in the custody suites or 9-5 inside magistrates courts covering Essex.
You will join an expert team who are committed to providing outstanding care within these settings, working closely with all agencies involved in the criminal justice system and working autonomously providing written reports and assessments/screening.

As a newly appointed employee, you are responsible for incurring the cost of your initial DBS check relevant to your post; the amount will be deducted from your first salary with the Trust.
