Job summary

Wessex ME is seeking an experienced HVAC fitter to join a well-established contractor delivering HVAC services across the Southwest, Home Counties and London. You will install and commission air conditioning systems, including VRV/VRF and splits, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

The role requires at least 3 years of hands-on installation experience, a CSCS card, a full UK driving licence, and a team-oriented, proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience installing VRV/VRF and split systems.
• CSCS card holder with strong health and safety awareness.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• City & Guilds FGAS refrigerant handling preferred.
• Ability to work well in a team and unsupervised when needed.
• Good planning and organisational skills.
• Experience with ventilation or heating services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission air conditioning systems.
• Collaborate within a team and on-site with project teams.
• Adhere to health, safety and site standards.
• Plan and organise installation tasks and schedules.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced HVAC Fitter to join a very well-established HVAC company, operating predominantly throughout the Southwest, the Home Counties and the London area. We have many years of experience of delivering HVAC services using a highly trained workforce. Due to our ongoing success, we have a need to expand further and are therefore currently looking to fulfil the following job opportunity.

The Role:

• Experienced air conditioning fitter with a proven track record in installation and commissioning of air conditioning systems
• Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience, installing systems such as VRV's, VRF's and Splits.
• Must be a team player, motivated, trustworthy, have a positive 'can do' attitude and able to overcome situations unsupervised
• A good knowledge of Health & Safety and hold a current CSCS card.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ideally City & Guilds 2079 Refrigerant Handling Certificate (FGAS).
• Must have good planning and organisational skills.
• Ideally a City & Guilds or equivalent in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
• Experience with ventilation, heating services and ASHP's would also be an advantage but not essential.
