Job summary

Hill McGlynn Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced HVAC Fitter/AC Engineer to cover the Southwest, Home Counties and London area. The role focuses on installation and commissioning of air conditioning systems with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Typically, the role is Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week, with overtime available. Applicants should have at least 3 years of VRV/VRF/Splits installation experience, a CSCS card, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience installing air conditioning systems (VRV/VRF/Splits).
• CSCS card and strong Health & Safety awareness.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• City & Guilds Refrigerant Handling (FGAS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission air conditioning systems (VRV/VRF/Splits).
• Work as part of a team and self-manage in unsupervised situations.
• Demonstrate good planning and organisational skills.

HVAC Fitter / AC Engineer

Location: Southwest, the Home Counties and the London area

Salary: £16 - £18ph

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced HVAC Fitter to join a very well-established HVAC company, operating predominantly throughout the Southwest, the Home Counties and the London area. We have many years of experience of delivering HVAC services using a highly trained workforce. Due to our ongoing success, we have a need to expand further and are therefore currently looking to fulfil the following job opportunity.

The Role

• Experienced air conditioning fitter with a proven track record in installation and commissioning of air conditioning systems
• Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience installing systems such as VRV's, VRF's and Splits.
• Must be a team player, motivated, trustworthy, have a positive 'can do' attitude and able to overcome situations unsupervised
• A good knowledge of Health & Safety and hold a current CSCS card.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ideally City & Guilds 2079 Refrigerant Handling Certificate (FGAS).
• Must have good planning and organisational skills.
• Ideally a City & Guilds or equivalent in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
• Experience with ventilation, heating services and ASHP's would also be an advantage but not essential.
