Bewicke Medical Centre are looking for anenthusiastic and committed salaried GP with the view of becoming a GP Partner.We are an innovative training Practice team. We are ideally looking for a 4-6-sessionwith some variation around this for the right candidate.

We are a busy and diverse Practice based inWallsend, Tyne and Wear but do make sure our team are well supported and have abalanced and varied schedule. We have an appointment system which includesclinical assessment to help prioritise needs of patients With a Duty Doctordaily cover with is aimed at urgent acute on the day appointments when we haveused all the appointments. We have a number of ways to help alleviate pressuresof clinical administration workload, with the support of two medical secretariesand a data management team to support with admin tasks. At Bewicke MedicalCentre we have a fantastic team that works well together, comprising of 3 GPpartners and four salaried GP's that collaborates to solve problems and isincredibly supportive. Main duties of the job

• Established patient list with a manageable workload, and great support from a large multi-disciplinary clinical team
• Offering 4-6 Salaried sessions, with a view to a Partnership if desired.
• Highly organised practice with a well-staffed team of clinical and clerical staff, who hold regular clinical meetings, and actively involved in Wallsend Primary Care Network , we encourage the pursuit of specialist clinical interests to help benefit the needs of the practice patients.
• Successful GP training practice, with 3rd, 5th year medical students and GP Registrars
• List size of approx 9375 patients
• Good CQC rating practice.

At Bewicke Medical Centrewe have a fantastic team that works well together, comprising of 3 GP partnersand 4 salaried GP's and 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners that collaborates to solve problems and is incrediblysupportive. We are proud of the loyalty of the team and how they look aftereach other and have fun whilst working hard to look after our patients. We have a great team of receptionists, administrators ,including a data management team and care navigators all working to provide an excellent service. We have a LTC Lead Nurse Manager and 3 practice nurses , 2 healthcare assistants and 1 Nurse Associate. There are 2 medical secretaries that support all of the GP. Some of our GP's specialise in Dermatology, Minor Surgery, Women's Health and much more. We also have a dedicated Pharmacy team consisting of 2 pharmacists, prescription clerk and pharmacy technician, as well as a PCN pharmacist.

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct patient consultations and physical examinations

Person Specification

Qualifications

• Full registration with the relevant medical board (e.g., GMC in the UK)
• Completion of GP training and certification minimum of 12months working unsupervised as a GP
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to patient-centered care
• Good time management is essential
• Conduct consultations for acute, chronic, and preventative care
• Manage a wide variety of medical conditions across all age groups
• Provide telephone and online consultations where appropriate
• Issue prescriptions, order investigations, and follow up on results
• Refer patients to secondary or specialist services as needed
• Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and continuing professional development
• Work collaboratively with practice nurses, receptionists, and other healthcare professionals
• Contribute to the running and development of the practice
• Requirements:
• GMC registration and inclusion on the GP register
• Completion of GP training and CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training)
