We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Full-Time Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team at a Primary School in Kent starting in April 2025. This is a full-time role, offering the chance to work closely with classroom teachers to support the learning and development of students across various age groups.
As a Full-Time Teaching Assistant, you will assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons, providing one-on-one or small group support, and promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment. You will also support students in developing their academic, social, and emotional skills, ensuring they reach their full potential.
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging lessons across various subjects
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs
- Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
- Support the development of students’ social, emotional, and academic skills
- Help monitor and assess student progress
- Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant (preferred but not essential)
- Passionate about working with children and supporting their individual learning needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, proactive, and flexible
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude towards supporting student development
- Experience working with children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) is a plus
