Job summary
South West Recruitment is seeking a Temporary Floor Layer for a Bournemouth, Dorset assignment with the local Council. You will install safety flooring, fit cap and coving systems, and work on level access shower rooms and bathrooms. Experience in domestic flooring installations and working in occupied properties is preferred.
The role includes daytime hours, a van-provided company, and tool allowances. DBS checks may apply and you will join the Bathroom Adaptations Team.
Qualifications
- Experience installing safety flooring in domestic and commercial settings.
- Able to fit and finish cap and cove flooring systems.
- Skilled in hot air welding and floor joints welding techniques.
- Experience working in social housing or occupied properties is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Install and finish safety flooring for bathrooms and wet rooms.
- Prepare subfloors with latex screeding and leveling compounds.
- Carry out vinyl sheet flooring installation to high standards.
- Work with other trades to complete bathroom refurbishment projects.
