Job summary

Impression Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an experienced Paralegal in Harrogate to join a supportive legal team. The role covers sales and purchases, leases, property finance and related management duties, with a focus on commercial property work.

You will work closely with the Department Head, handle a diverse caseload, build strong client relationships, and contribute to documentation, due diligence and compliance tasks. 28,000–32,000 per annum, 9:00–17:30, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Previous Paralegal experience
• Strong knowledge of commercial property and conveyancing
• Excellent legal research, drafting and document-review skills
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills
• Ability to manage a busy caseload and deadlines
• Confident working independently and taking ownership

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied commercial property caseload
• Supporting property sales, purchases and transactions through to completion
• Handling landlord and tenant matters, including leases, licences and renewals
• Assisting with property finance transactions
• Reviewing titles, searches, CPSE enquiries and other due diligence
• Drafting and reviewing commercial property documentation
• Preparing reports, completion statements and transaction documents
• Liaising with clients and key professional contacts
• Managing key dates, deadlines and transaction timetables
• Handling Land Registry and post-completion requirements
• Preparing and submitting Stamp Duty Land Tax returns
• Maintaining accurate files and case management records
• Providing a high-quality, responsive client service
• Working closely with the Head of Commercial Property
• Supporting networking and business-development activities
