Job Description:

Do you want part-time or full-time work in one of the largest catering companies in the UK? We offer flexible Catering Assistant roles where you can pick up as many or as few shifts as you like.

Working Hours

Constellation optimizes the working schedules of Compass employees, helping you work at over 5,000 venues across the UK on shifts that suit you. We are seeking individuals available to work Monday to Friday or 5 days out of 7, including some occasional weekends.

Main Responsibilities for Catering Assistants

• Be polite, prompt, and friendly to all colleagues and guests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to ensure smooth service.
• Follow guidance and procedures from the lead chef and/or room manager to maximize team performance.
• Take pride in your work and adhere to the standards set by your team.
• Seek to improve your knowledge, skills, and personal performance.
• Comply with all company and unit policies regarding Health & Safety, Food Safety, Allergens, Hygiene, Manual Handling, and COSHH.
• Take responsibility for your own health and safety.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Enjoy your work, smile, and have fun!

Skills / Qualifications

Experience in food preparation, making sandwiches and salads in a busy industrial kitchen is desirable. Some roles may require experience in front-of-house duties such as operating a till, serving at the food counter, and maintaining cleanliness in the staff feeding restaurant.
