Do you want part-time or full-time work in one of the largest catering companies in the UK? We offer flexible Catering Assistant roles, where you can choose as many or as few shifts as you like.

Working Hours

Constellation optimizes the working schedules of Compass employees, enabling you to work at over 5,000 venues across the UK on shifts that suit you. We are particularly looking for people available to work Monday to Friday or 5 days out of 7, including some occasional weekends.

Main Responsibilities for Catering Assistants

• Being polite, prompt, and friendly to all colleagues and guests
• Communicating with guests and colleagues to ensure smooth delivery
• Following guidance and procedures from lead chef and/or room manager to maximize team performance
• Taking pride in your work and adhering to standards with your team
• Actively seeking to improve knowledge, skills, and personal performance
• Complying with company policies on Health & Safety, Food Safety, Allergens, Hygiene, Manual Handling, and COSHH
• Taking responsibility for your own health and safety
• Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
• Enjoying your work, smiling, and having fun!

Skills / Qualifications

Experience in food prep, making sandwiches & salads within a busy industrial kitchen is desirable. Some Catering Assistant roles may also require experience in front-of-house duties such as operating a till, serving at the food counter, and maintaining cleanliness in staff feeding areas.
