Job summary

Visiting Angels East Nottinghamshire is seeking Experienced Carers for mornings and evenings to support clients in their own homes across Radcliffe-on-Trent, Bingham, West Bridgford, East Bridgford, Ruddington and nearby areas. You will provide person-centred care, helping with daily tasks, meal prep, medication prompts, and companionship, with travel time paid between visits.

We offer up to £13.75 per hour plus 30p mileage, flexible patterns, paid DBS, and guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in care is not essential as full training is provided.
• A caring attitude and willingness to make a difference are vital.
• Good communication and teamwork are important.

Responsibilities

• Visit clients in their own homes to provide daily support.
• Assist with personal care, meals, and light housework.
• Promote independence and companionship; help access the community.
• Prompt and administer medications as needed.

Salary And Benefits

• Up To £13.75 an hour plus 30p Mileage and Paid Travel Time ON TOP of hourly rate.

What would you be doing?

As a carer you will be visiting our clients in their own homes. Supporting them with everyday tasks, so they can continue to live independently whilst enriching their lives in the comfort of their own homes.

Duties Will Include

• Personal care, helping them to get up in the morning or prepare for bed in the evening, including a shower or bath.
• Assist them with dressing/undressing.
• Preparing meals and snacks.
• Helping with laundry or light housework.
• Supporting our clients to access the community.
• Prompting & administering medication.
• Companionship.

About you:

• A caring attitude and a willingness to make a difference
• A full UK Driving License and use of a car.
• Experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
• Proof of right-to-work in the United Kingdom
• Reliability, flexibility, hard work, and honesty
• Good communication skills and a good sense of humour
• Ability to work as part of a team
