Job summary

Visiting Angels South Yorkshire is seeking carers to visit clients in their own homes across Radcliffe-on-Trent, Bingham, West Bridgford, East Bridgford, Ruddington and surrounding areas. You will help with daily tasks to enable independent living, providing compassionate, person-centred care.

The role offers flexible patterns with guaranteed hours, paid travel time, mileage allowance and DBS paid. Full training is provided, and you must have a full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving License and access to a car.
• Full training will be provided.
• Proof of right-to-work in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care and help with morning/evening routines including showers or baths.
• Assist with dressing/undressing and meal preparation.
• Help with laundry and light housework.
• Support clients to access the community and social activities.
• Prompting and administering medication where required.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.

• Up To £13.75 an hour plus 30p Mileage and Paid Travel Time ON TOP of hourly rate.

What you will be doing

As a carer you will be visiting our clients in their own homes. Supporting them with everyday tasks, so they can continue to live independently whilst enriching their lives in the comfort of their own homes.

Duties Will Include

• Personal care, helping them to get up in the morning or prepare for bed in the evening, including a shower or bath.
• Assist them with dressing/undressing.
• Preparing meals and snacks.
• Helping with laundry or light housework.
• Supporting our clients to access the community.
• Prompting & administering medication.
• Companionship.
