Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited in the Chesterfield area is urgently seeking experienced Carer Assistants for an on-site extra care service where residents live in their own flats within a single building. You will perform personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, light domestic duties and occasional shopping.

DBS checks and mandatory training are required; shifts include afternoons and other times on request, with pay at £12.71 per hour rising to £13.33 after 13 weeks and

Qualifications

• At least 3 months experience in an Elderly Care environment.
• DBS dated within the last 6 months or available via employer.
• Up-to-date mandatory training in Moving and Handling, Infection Control and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults.
• Referenceable work history covering the past 2 years.
• Passion to make a difference to an individual's life.

Responsibilities

• Personal care for residents.
• Medication administration as required.
• Meal preparation and domestic duties.
• Occasional shopping in the local area.
• Assist with moving using mobility aids when needed.
