Job summary

First Group is seeking Experienced Bus Drivers to join the Glasgow depot. You will drive local bus routes, ensuring safety, reliability and punctual service for passengers across a rotating shift pattern.

The role offers guaranteed contracted hours with a clear progression path and a company culture focused on community connectivity. Applicants must hold a PCV licence and a full UK driving licence with up to six points, along with right-to-work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid PCV licence and a Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Evidence of right to work in the UK is required.
• Strong customer service skills and a flexible, reliable approach to shift work.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate local bus services on assigned routes.
• Ensure journeys are safe, reliable, and on time while delivering excellent passenger service.
• Represent First Bus with professionalism and maintain community connections.
• Shifts include mornings, evenings, and weekends on a rota-based system.
