Job summary

Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Bookkeeper to join an established finance team based in East Grinstead on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced bookkeeper with strong Sage Line 50 experience and is confident managing day-to-day accounts across multiple entities through to trial balance.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, excellent Excel skills, and a methodical approach.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Confident managing accounts through to trial balance.
• Excellent attention to detail and methodical approach.

Responsibilities

• Managing sales and purchase ledgers, including processing invoices and chasing outstanding debts.
• Producing monthly management reports and profit & loss summaries.
• Completing daily bank, credit card and supplier statement reconciliations.
• Preparing accounts through to trial balance for year-end review.
• Supporting or managing monthly payroll processing and pension contributions.
• Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns via Sage in line with Making Tax Digital requirements.
• Producing CIS returns.
• Maintaining accurate financial records using Sage Line 50.
