Expenses Assistant

Location: Leighton Buzzard
Pay: £12.63 to £13.73 per hour
Full Time, Monday to Friday - 3-6 months

About the Role:

Are you available immediately?

We are currently seeking an Expenses Assistant, based in Leighton Buzzard. This is an ongoing temporary position, with the potential for the role to go permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review and process all expense claims in accordance with the company's policy and ensure that they are approved correctly.
  2. Making sure VAT receipts are valid for claims and cover the value.
  3. Verify all expenses are within HMRC guidelines and enforce expenses best practice.
  4. Support the expenses fee into the finance system and payment runs.
  5. Deal with employee emails and phone queries in a professional and timely manner.
  6. Undertake any other duties which may be requested by the Line Manager.

What We're Looking For:
  1. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  2. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  3. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel.
  4. Customer focused.
