Job summary

Job Description:

A market leading Lloyd's insurance business is looking for an Expense Finance Business Partner to join the team. You will support the Head of Expenses with monthly expense reporting and the annual budgeting process.

The main responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with function heads to ensure actual and budgeted spend are understood and agreed.
• Assisting the Head of Expenses in generating the expense budget.
• Delivering timely and accurate monthly expense closes, overseeing outsourced providers.
• Producing accurate monthly expense reports comparing actuals vs. plan, including variance analysis.
• Partnering with stakeholders across underwriting and operations to ensure relevant financial insights.
• Handling ad-hoc work and projects as required.

The ideal candidate will have prior FP&A or Business Partnering experience, preferably focused on expenses. They should be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and ideally have experience in insurance, with strong communication skills.
