Job summary

StandardAero is seeking a Materials / Parts Coordinator in the Gosport area to manage aircraft part orders, liaise with Tier 1 suppliers and coordinate between internal departments to meet AOG and production targets.

You will drive timely resolution of parts quality issues, optimize stock levels, and utilize ERP to track parts allocation and master data. This role supports MoD-driven schedule targets within a Military Part 145 framework.

Qualifications

• Experience in an equivalent role.
• Experience in a similar industry.
• Ability to handle aircraft parts.
• Excellent written, oral and telephone communication.
• Familiar with aerospace quality procedures and documentation.
• Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• ERP system experience.
• Working knowledge of a Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Managing your aircraft orderbook (purchase orders) as necessary, ensuring we’ve ordered the right parts, for the right time, in the correct quantities and necessary communications with our Tier 1 supplier regarding release.
• Manage escalated parts as priority to support operations as required.
• Facilitating the flow of materials between various internal and external departments to satisfy emergent and AOG needs.
• Managing and working with suppliers to ensure timely solutions or delivery of parts to achieve the aircraft production plan and/or target stock level requirements.
• Drive stakeholders to resolve parts quality issues/concerns.
• Effectively identify solutions for requirements within the adaptable Military Part 145 environment to achieve schedule targets and customer driven turn time challenges from the Ministry of Defence (MoD).
• Utilize ERP systems in order to manage parts allocation, master data, stock levels and tracking progress with our suppliers.
• Ensure daily routines are completed to achieve system data completeness.
