Job summary

Aberystwyth University, Department of Physics, seeks an experienced ExoMars Project Manager to support delivery of the Rosalind Franklin rover project objectives. The role involves financial, administrative, and schedule management, reporting to funders, and coordinating across partners in the UK and Europe.

The ideal candidate will have a project management qualification or extensive experience, strong budgeting and procurement knowledge, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Extensive project management experience or formal qualification.
• Strong budgeting and reporting experience, with audits & spend profiling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across internal and external partners.
• Experience coordinating across institutions and with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project management with financial and schedule oversight and audits.
• Write reports for funding bodies with adherence to funders' rules.
• Coordinate staff travel and ensure compliant reporting across partners.
• Plan and run project events and coordinate marketing and stakeholder engagement.
• Serve as central contact for administrative requirements of the project.
• Attend project board meetings and coordinate reviews; travel within the UK and Europe.
