Job summary

Silverstone Museum is looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Exhibition Manager to lead the planning, delivery and ongoing development of our exhibitions and gallery spaces. Working closely with the Director of Curation & Learning, you will manage everything from major temporary exhibitions and permanent gallery updates to budgets, loans, installations and exhibition technology.

• Proven ability to manage complex exhibitions projects.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Experience managing budgets and financial forecasting for exhibition programs.

Responsibilities

• Managing the delivery of exhibitions and gallery installations from concept to completion.
• Creating and overseeing project plans, schedules and budgets.
• Coordinating object loans, exhibition content and interpretation materials.
• Managing exhibition technology, maintenance contractors and support services.
• Working with colleagues, volunteers and external partners to create engaging visitor experiences.
• Supporting the installation and movement of collection objects and exhibition displays.
